Brigade Boutique has opened in Downtown LA. This store is a gem for women looking for  upscale shopping. Brigade carries Milly, JBrand jeans, Wildfox, Jeffrey Campbell, Siwy, 7 for all Mankind, Alice & Olivia, and many other designer labels. There are lots accessories including shoes, handbags, sunglasses, and iPhone cases. Brigades forward thinking owners are Kuo Yang and Keiko Narukawa. Kuo and Keiko saw a void in the marketplace and brought DTLA women a place to shop. Brigade is located near the popular Bottega Louie Restaurant.

Target is finally coming to Westwood!

Target is planning on opening City Target, an urban based concept store in Westwood Village and Downtown LA. Target is planning to open the 98,000 square foot City Target ( geared toward a urban customer) in the former Home Expo space at 10861 Weyburn Avenue, Los Angeles in July 2012. Target also is planning to open Downtown Los Angeles at 7th and Figueroa in October 2012.

 Victorinox Swiss Army has opened its second US and first West Coast location in the Beverly Center. The 2300 square foot store features the full line of Swiss Army knives, cutlery, luggage, fragrance, timepieces and apparel for men and women.

New stores in New York- Brooks Brothers, Loro Piano, and L' Occitane

Going to New York for holiday shopping? Three new stores have opened in New York and they are your exclusive destinations. Our first stop is in the new Brooks Brothers concept store Flatiron.  Second, Loro Piana, on Madison Avenue. And third, L'Occitane Heritage store.

First Stop: Brook Brothers Flatiron 

Brooks Brothers has opened a three level, 7200 square foot concept for college students and young professionals. The store carries merchandise for both men and women, and even carries Levi jeans among the more casual assortment of clothes.

Second Stop: Loro Piana


Loro Piana has opened a 13,000 square foot boutique with the first level appointed to gifts and accessories. Some elegant gifts include a cashmere plaid backgammon or chess games, calfskin tennis bags, titanium glasses. All beautiful gifts to say thank you. The store carries a complete assortment of Loro Piana including men's, women's, children's, accessories and shoes.

Third Stop: L'Occitane Heritage

L'Occitane has opened its first Heritage store which accentuates the brands history. L'Occitane was founded in 1976 by Oliver Baussan. The 2500 square foot flagship resembles a greenhouse with french country accents. Not only does the store carry the full line of products, it also features services including skin and hair consultations, hand massages, mini facials and barber shaving. There are gift sets all over the store to pick up for your holiday shopping including the famous shea butter hand cream.

West Elm opens Nov. 17 on Beverly Blvd., Los angeles

West Elm, Williams Sonoma contemporary and affordable home furnishing store, has opened its 37th location on Beverly Blvd at Kings Road in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 17, 2011.The 14,000 square foot store features sofas, sectionals, tables, rugs, bedding, bath, accessories, and holiday decor. The store also features a design lab for virtual space planning and decorating.

Junior League of Orange County- The Christmas Company

The Junior League of Orange County is having their annual "The Christmas Company" Shopping Event. This is a 4 day Pop Up shopping spree at the Orange County fair grounds with over 90 retailers. There is something for everyone at this shop-a-thon. Some of the retailers are online only, some have brick and mortar stores and some are new. My new favorite retailer to buy polo shirts is Salmon Cove from Chicago will be there at the show. The categories covered include women's, women's accessories, children's, books, stationary, gifts, home and garden, bath and body, gourmet food, cooking, pets and jewelry. The best part of this is this benefits is the Junior League's community partners: Second Harvest Food Bank, Olive Crest, Orangewood Children's Foundation, Crittendon Services, Raise Foundation and Choc Childrens Hospital of Orange County. There is a $10 admission fee for shopping and several special events like the Fancy Nancy Tea Party on Saturday November 20. Please check the website for further information: www.shopTCC.com
